PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh’s to start with ever Women’s EXPO celebration arrived to West Aspect Ballroom Saturday.
The occasion had approximately 40 booths geared toward women of all ages who were seeking to learn far more about various firms, providers and methods positioned in the North Place.
DJ Jim Carroll from Time beyond regulation Images had tunes and a picture booth offered for attendees to love as nicely.
Tracy Graves, the host for the function, said she experienced been arranging the Women’s EXPO considering that in advance of the pandemic started.
“Other gals and I have a small small business team that we applied to belong to — we would do a ton of fundraisers and had talked eternally about executing a Women’s EXPO, so we (ultimately) made the decision to do it. We commenced organizing it and then COVID hit, so we had to maintain canceling it. This was best timing, due to the fact people are now completely ready to get out and go spots,” Graves explained.

Fidelis Care, Gratitude for Wellness, Shannon Bessette PT, UkeN’Sip, The Ease and comfort Cub, Wonderful Magnesium and Brennan Buick GMC had been amongst the booths in attendance.
Beverly King, a Malone resident, was in cost of the Comfort Cub booth, in which she educated attendees about the lots of rewards of weighted, therapeutic teddy bears and how they assist “mothers, fathers, families and communities endure and recover soon after a considerable reduction or trauma.”

The party had partnered with Make-A-Desire Basis of Northeast New York, so the $5 admission charge, together with the raffle earnings, the two went toward bringing needs to small children in the North Region.
Graves stated she would enjoy to make the Women’s EXPO an once-a-year event so they can husband or wife with Make-A-Wish yet again in the foreseeable future.
