Acer Gadget, Starbit set up NFT platform

Acer’s subsidiary Acer Gadget and Startbit have jointly recognized Jcard 2., a NFT (non-fungible token) system for listing and transaction of style, leisure products and solutions/expert services and arts, in accordance to Acer Gadget president Allen Jong.

For Jcard 2., Acer Gadget and Startbit have enlisted vogue and enjoyment brokerage provider service provider Catwalk Output Property, Taiwan Academy of Wonderful Arts and Tokyo Chuo MuChunTang Auction.

The platform is intended to improve application of metaverse, which will require cross-domain methods, internationalization and globalization, cooperation amid government businesses, industries and educational corporations, Jong famous.

Staying a startup started in 2017, Startbit specializes in developing application courses for enterprises’ blockchain programs. The firm launched Startbit Ex, the initial decentralized trade in Asia, in 2018 and has designed STO (stability token providing) and NFT platforms. Startbit was invested by Taiwan’s Countrywide Development Basis in July 2019 and by Acer in February 2022.

Metaverse consists of a number of features, which includes AR/VR/XR, wearable units, modest-size providers of expert services, game titles and IP, Startbit CEO Sway Teng mentioned.

The small business product for Jcard 2. is characterised by listing prices for qualified IP and 5% of transaction revenues as brokerage fee, Teng pointed out. Listing fees fluctuate, depending on IP conditions, Teng indicated.

In addition to the Taiwan sector, Jcard 2. will be promoted in Southeast Asia, China, Japan and South Korea, Teng explained.
